Just read from the news few days ago on PPPost that there will be a supermarket in Battambang by the end of year 2010. The investor put 10 million US dollar to build this new supermarket. Normally, the supermarket will have all the necessary equipment equipped but in the news said this mall will have aircon and elevator. So what is the point mentioning this?
The growing of market mean the growing of businesses and people have more choices from their local market and at the same time means for more development of the country. It is a good news for shopping-lovers.

Malls and some small super market or shopping centers are places where people like to hang out especially for people of this generation. Beside all those small shopping malls there are two big shopping center in Phnom Penh.
Shopping Center Sorya located at the HEART of Phnom Penh City close to Psar Thmey (expate known as central market).
Sovanna Shopping Center is the latest big one compare to Sorya Shopping Center where young people like to hang out at the weekend or in the evening when they are free from work and study.
I also come to these 2 shopping place for foods sometime but not so often. Sorya is more convenience if talking about the distance and road access from my place. Not so much fun though but love the food at a few stands there.
