On of the Many Grave of Killing Field - Chheung Ek
On Sunday, Nov 09, 2008 is the my recent visit to the killing field chheung ek one of the thousand graves in Cambodia during the Pol Pot regime. People cannot understand why the true leader of that regime killed its own people. I asked older people and they said that they didn’t understand it too.
Looking into the grave you can see the empty grave that burried hundred of people in one mass grave. Imagine in the world who did that? Only in Pol Pot regim where young people never believe and foreigner couldn’t believe it too. But that’s the truth.
Nothing much left behind for today but only empty graves, bones and skulls of the death. The world wondered what was the principle of the leader during those years. I also hard to believe it. It is said that the relative kill each other, children killed their parents…etc. The Angka was so cruel. But that was not movie. It was real. The shadow left behind with darkest world that ended for Cambodian people.
