JOB POSTING
Job Titles:
English Teacher/Child Advocate and English Teacher/Health Coordinator.   1 or 2 positions, from 10 to 35 hours per week.  Schedule will be mornings and/or afternoons.  Female preferred for at least one of the positions.
Salary:
Based on skills and experience; around $1.50 per hour.
Organization:
Aziza Schoolhouse , based in Tonle Bassac, is an NGO to help the residents of Building Block, mostly through free English classes, as well as health and education services, activities and computer classes (just starting).  Employees and volunteers are encouraged to bring their ideas and skills to contribute to help young people improve their lives.
At this time we are creating a new schedule at a new location and are flexible to scheduling needs, salary, and level of experience.  We are a grass-roots organization and depend on good people to deliver our services, as well as create new ways of fulfilling the needs of the community. 
The following are the requirements of the position(s):
Teaching experience (desired)
1.      Good English skills, and enjoy teaching.
M   Must like children.
2.      Desire to help low income people.
3.      Strong preference for one female and one male since we address gender and want to be a resource for young women and men.
5.       Desire to learn on the job and assist with new programs (health and hygiene, leadership, job training and placement).
6.      Knowledge of health and hygiene topics desirable. 
7.      Good attitude.
 
The selected applicant will work with the American director and assist with translation and management duties, oversee student volunteers, lead field trips, and find ways to have fun while working.  Will assist with children individually, and follow up with their public school, health and emotional needs.
