Cambodia Real Estate Prices Continue to Fall

As guess a few months ago, the prices of land property and building is going down slowly until now.

Property prices in Cambodia’s once-booming real estate market haven fallen by as much as 20 percent since June, a real estate expert said Monday.

The global financial crisis, the Thai-Cambodia border standoff and loan restrictions set out by commercial banks were all contributing to a fall in prices, said Sung Bonna, president of the National Valuers Association of Cambodia.

“The drop may continue for a long or short time,” he said in opening remarks at a real estate investment training course in Phnom Penh. “It is up to the reform of the Cambodian situation. Some crises will be solved.” Read more…

But the price of the building and land go up very high according to the need of newly businesses who come to invest in Cambodia lately.

The good thing is selling properties increase and it had made many people to grow rich by far selling and owning new properties. However, for those who don’t have the luck of doing this business will just have no chance to involve and far from owning a properties in Cambodia.

Now aday, the price of the properties has double or tripple itself where it is hard to imagine a place to own. The demand is still hight.
