Someone Do Something Wrong On The Internet?

Just wondering to ask this question to the readers and maybe it is a great thing to say so we can collect ideas and learn together. The question is “what are thing that you can identify that someone do something wrong on the internet?”

I used to spend hours surfing the internet for just little pieces of information and sometime i got frustrated digging out all those information as well cos it didn’t give me much benefit. And i had to redesign the way i use the internet and how i spend time with it. It had been a bad experience wasting time do nothing but time wasting.

Anyway, thank to the internet that bring a lot simultaneously and meanwhile i learn a lot from this latest technology too. Most of my day are very much entertain with internet and the online resources that offered.

Do you guys have any idea about this? What are thing that come up in your mind in general when you hear this question? If you wish you can talk more specific of the situation…

Internet is really providing many important ways for study, business, research, communication and so on. But at that time, i just share my negative thoughts to be addicted to internet by accessing it almost everyday. Sometimes, I wast times on surfing internet because i am falling in love with searching it until i am late to finish my work. Other points, i hardly do not read books and newspapers. by the way, the concentration on reading online is different from reading on printed papers. Even though, I still need internet access. it facilitate more my works and something.

Phone Call – The Killing Numbers?

Hi guys, i am wondering if you heard any news related to the phone numbers that can kill people when they receive the call from these numbers? In the last few days and until today, i still hear a lot people talking about the number that could kill people when they receive the phone call from the strange number.

There were a few number that people say we should be aware of like the red numbers, the 707 or 007 or the blue numbers. I got a few phone call reminder from some of my friends saying i should care fully aware of receiving the phone call cos it could kill me. Do you believe it? And they told me to call to as many people as i could to let them know what is going on.

For me, i don’t think the phone number could kill people at all. I’m curious it would be something joking that people would talk about. I read the newspaper today and they said people talk about this a lot through out the country. It is reported that there were many cases reported but couldn’t find out the death bodies. So what? What’s wrong with this?

Do people should scare about this? It is ridiculous, isn’t it? I guess it is just a joke that people want to scare other people. You should not watch the ghost movies to much. This kind of lead could destroy your feeling. Wish you are well understanding with this situation. The red number, blue number and other type of phone number can’t kill you guys. This is what i believe. And you guys…?

Hi… I also heard about this too… But i dont know it is true or not… But my friend said that it already killed her friend’s cousin… So it is mayb true… It can kill people cos it has Radio active… When we get the phone, the Radio active will attact our heart and we can make our heart stuck so we can die cos of that number…

    • Piseth 2:42 pm on April 26, 2008 Permalink

Well, as for me i don’t believe any extra power or the radio active could cause you with such things. It is just something that i couldn’t believe, you know.

Probably, it is more like virus attack with nothing would make something like this happe at all. If it is true then the virus is growing so fast. But here, we can see not everyone experience with this yet. It’s just word vita, i guess.

I have no proof with this information yet anyway. Hope people will find out the truth. Cheers!

it sound like something out of a movie i once saw.

    • ijajaja 2:17 pm on April 28, 2008 Permalink

707 or 007 is the calling from outside the country it’s not weird for me. The blue number ?? i am wondering what it is. I think it’s impossible for the phone call to kill a person!!! No lesson yet in Telecommunication Study :)

    • Piseth 2:36 am on April 29, 2008 Permalink

Yes, it’s weird to me as well jajaja. I guess until now there is no proven of the death yet. And one more thing how can the death person tell the one who alive that they died? How do the living one recall it?

    • Barbie 2:06 pm on April 29, 2008 Permalink

Personally, I gotta say that I don’t believe in this kind of rumour at all! This is the 21st century! We shouldn’t be excessivly superstitious! Let just say, as long as there is no scientific reserch or official declaration about this, I’ll still hold my disbelief. Oh well, I don’t know wat people think, but this is just my point of view :)

Btw, Bro, it’s been awhile since we last talked. How are things going with you? I hope you are doing ok :)

Have a nice day, Bro Piseth!

    • phoumirak 7:24 am on April 30, 2008 Permalink

kinda interesting this is! Probably we should understand that our Cambodians are simply light hearing (Trojeak sor) and are easily cheated on. Imagine all these rumours (only possible in Cambodia). Eating green beans curing SARS.. let me recall: oh people saying Preah Koh emerging from the ground in Kg Cham (people see it on their own eyes: masses eagerly crawling in to see) turned out that the cow statue was actually unearthed by archeological team near an ancient temple there when i went to see by myself (was not curious to see, but just on my way home). On and on, don’t know how many stupid things rumbling on our people’s heads. I can’t believe this!

Your own eyes can be sometimes blurred, your ears are even more. For Cambodians: we must learn how to think more (really more).

    • Piseth 2:01 pm on May 6, 2008 Permalink

I guess to be best judgment i leave with you guys personally to think about that. Be the truth…

    The Ruler of Life?

I believe in life there are rulers to rule over your life in different ways and different parts of life where sometime we know and others are hard to recognize. That’s the truth that we human being cannot change since we don’t have the power to do so.

There is one thing that is being a ruler that come slowly in your life it is the routine. When something start to happen in your daily life for 30 days it will becoming a ruler later where it would make you feel easy to accept it.

Even though it is a routine, it could be good and it could be bad. E.g. you are very lazy reading. You try to learn from different ways to push you hard to get start with a reading routine. But you will find it hard to do so since it is something that is not naturally adapt to your life. Yes, it is true. So what you would do is to struggle with it for a period of time. And slowly it become more and more easier. You feel like it slowly…

If that is the sign, then yeah, it is a good start. That is the lead of life, something that you make it to get start. After 30 days, it is a guarantee that it is soon become a practice and you don’t have to try hard any more.

From my point of view that is something that will form you a wanting to go for it. Somehow, it could dominant your life in the appropriate time. I could not say how it could be like, but yeah that is it.

    Visiting Mesang – Preveng Province

Early morning, on tuesday, april 22 i got up very early morning to catch the taxi to Neakleung. It was a bit hard for me to get up at 5:00am. I have to rush for everything prepare for the early morning journey. Because the unwell planned, i got the information on monday that i have to travel on tuesday at 6:00am so i would be able to meet with the district chief and the director of health centre in mesang at 10:00am.

However, at that morning i was a bit late to catch the taxi at chbar ampov. So i departure at 6:15am with my boss where she was waiting for me there about 15 minutes before i arrived. On the road to neakleung on that way was quite good because not very busy as normally people said it’s very busy. So we were able to cross the ferry early at 7:15am.

On the other side of the river, there were 2 motorbike waiting for us with the letter to show us. That’s cool! No later, we got on the motor with our stuffs and moving toward mesang district. We were on the motor for almost like 2 hours to get there at mesang.

I cannot remember the road quite well even though i used to visit there once in late 2006. So we get there just before the meeting supposed to start. The meeting went on for about 1 hour and we leaved the place to go to there place where we stayed and had lunch. Then i rest for about 30minutes during the lunch break .

Quite a lot of thing to do there, visiting the health project, meeting the staff and i had a chance to go to some of there house as well while other busy with their works. I wish i could stay there longer since i really enjoy the meals and the nice breath there up the countryside.

5:00pm on the same day, we finished the meeting and i went back to see the children playing football at the football field, a nice place where it got the shade from the tree surround it. A while later we had dinner and went on talking until 8:00pm and it was late this time at the countryside. But strange there were two wedding near the place where i stay, they started the dancing late at 9:00pm.

So there were nothing else to do, i just went to bed early about 9pm too. The music didn’t disturb me at all since i felt tired for the whole day on that day. It’s cool at night with the windy nice blow…the next day i just stay there for a few more hours and leaved at 10:00am. I arrived back to the city around 1:00pm. Just sleep at that noon…

Setting Change To Permalink Hurt My Traffic

My website had a PR3 while it was up running for more than 3 months and i just got a PR4 in Feb 2008. Actually, it was not quite a long period of time as it keep growing up in its contents. Even though i’m not quite satisfy with it but yeah it is acceptable cos i didn’t run any campaign to raise the traffic to my website. All the traffic sources totally depend on the SE and it is all the SE who work for me (part of SE are links & receiptrocol links from others blogs and sites.)

It was a painful for me as i switch to the custom post permanent links. It was originally started with this post style http://www.piseth.info/2008/04/sample-post/ for several months (i guess almost a year) and in march i decided to hurt myself even though i knew that i'm gonna get hurt. What i did was i switched to the custom permanent link post where it looks like this http://www.piseth.info/%postname%/.

The purpose is to the attract the reader and it is the SEO way as well. So after i made this cool decision, the SE spider started to index my site again. I didn’t exactly what it was going on inside the algorithm but i lost lot of incoming traffic to my website. My cool decision hurt me to much…When i was trying to search for the actual keyword to my site, i saw them in the after i switched to the custom post permanent links. But it said, Not Found. Actually, the post is still there in my site but the permanent link has change that’s why visitor can’t read the post on my site that it used to be mydomain/year/month/posts/ but now it is mydomain/posts. It is shorter and easy to read and to type the link to the browser but as it is to reindex by the SE nobody will find me from the SE anymore like google, yahoo, msn,…etc.

Now, it’s like i’m building a new website again. But lucky me cos it left me with a PR4 to maintain a better growing traffic where i can start to rebuild it even better with the pain i got inside my website.

According to this experience of mine, i would advice you not to change your permanent links to your original post so often or not at all cos when you change that means the SE spider has to work all over again to reindex your site. Most of the traffic i got now just come from the links exchange or comment and directories only….
